OUR MISSION
We work with vulnerable children with extreme social, financial or emotional challenges. They are often victims of neglect and often left to fend for themselves with no opportunity to have a normal childhood.
We offer a programme of short term, personalised and consistent support that gives hope and encouragement to these young people. They learn new life skills, build strong friendships and create lasting childhood memories that they can cherish for many years to come.
Our programmes can also help offenders and ex-offenders to move on and fulfil their aspirations. The link between unemployment and reoffending is much clearer, with research suggesting that those who commit further offences are far more likely to be unemployed than those who do not. Offenders need skills that will allow them to get jobs and stay in work in order to break the cycle. South East Community are flexible and responsive to the needs of families and those in need of our services.
